Position: Food Service SubstituteLocation: District-WideHours: 3-7 hours per day as neededDuties may include, but are not limited to:? Preparing and serving food (may include cooking and baking).? Assisting with cleaning the kitchen, serving, and eating areas.? Maintaining all applicable health and sanitation standards.? Operating a Computerized Accountability System.? Attending staff training as needed.Qualifications:1. Education: High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.2. Current CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) is required. ServSafe certification ispreferred.3. Experience: Prior successful school Food Service experience is a plus.4. Physical Requirements: Evidence of ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, stand forperiods of time as long as 6+ hours on a cement/tile kitchen floor, work in a potentially hot andhumid environment.5. Good math skills are a must.6. Knowledge of weight scales and sanitation is a plus.7. Ability to read and follow a recipe.8. Must be willing to learn and run a Computerized Accountability System.9.
