We are seeking an amazing and talented Hybrid Remote Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at our private special education schools located in South Portland and Kittery, Maine! Our Academies blend education with emotional and behavioral support services.
Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Grade Level:
- Portland Kids Academy: grades K-8 (In-Person)
- Kittery Kids Academy: grades K-6 (Remote)
- Kittery Academy: 7-12 (Remote)
Location: In-Person in South Portland, with remote (home based) services provided to Kittery, Maine!
Salary: Up to $80,000/Year
Qualifications:
- Master's degree (Required)
- Current BCBA in good standing (Required)
Summary: The BCBA works between our three special purpose private schools implementing Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (PBIS) programs as well as individualized behavior plans. They collaborate with school personnel and consultants who oversee school placements, IEPs, and behavior planning to ensure program efficacy and to ensure that the needs of the students are in accordance with best practices. They also work with BHPs (Behavioral Health Professionals) to support and teach the necessary skills of the practice method. They support the Mission of Connections for Kids and follow the Policies and Procedures of the agency. They work in the schools to provide support, behavior management skills and behavior plan implementation for the BHP’s who are working to improve the child’s functioning while at school.
