JMG is looking to fill our opening at Bucksport Middle School, Bucksport, ME (Hancock County) for our next JMG Specialist.
The JMG Middle School program empowers 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in Bucksport to build essential communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Through engaging projects and adventure-based activities, this customized program operates on a UA rotation schedule, reaching every student in the Middle School.

Specific Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required. A strong candidate will also have excellent communication skills, creativity, willingness to advocate for youth, and confidence in relationship-building with local business leaders in the Bucksport community. Maine CHRC approval or the ability to attain Maine CHRC approval is required.
The start date for this position is Feb 2025.
Compensation for this position is $43,000. Paid time off includes school vacation weeks in December, February, and April, plus 15 additional vacation days. Staff also have 3 weeks of sick time, and 1 week of Covid time if needed.
