Are you a passionate educator with a knack for making math come to alive? We are seeking a dedicated 5th grade math teacher to join out team at Mountain Valley Middle School. This is an exciting opportunity to insprie young minds, foster a love for mathematics, and shape the future of our students.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans aligned with standards and curriculum objectives.
- Utilize effective classroom management stategies to establish a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic growth and success.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds.
- Incorporate hands-on activities, technology, and real-world applications to enhance to enhance learning and deepen students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their development.
We are 45 minutes from Lewiston/Auburn and 90 minutes from Portland. We have great outdoor recreation and children who need you!
We will consider Conditional certfications, if you haven't earned your full Professional certification.
Benefit for Teachers: If a newly hired teacher (to RSU 10) is professionally certified and chooses not to take courses their first year, they qualify for up to $2500 towards existing student loans.
