Accounting Clerk

Lee Academy is looking for an Accounting Clerk to support the operations of the Lee Academy business office.  Duties will cover a wide range of responsibilites related to HR, Payroll, AR, AP, Budgets, Grants, and Bookkeeping. Experience in a related field is a must.

We are looking for the following qualifications:

  * Knowledge & Experience in Checkwriters Payroll and Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT is a plus.

  * Knowledge & Understanding of basic bookeeping practices and accounting principals.

  * Knowledge & Experience in MS Office & Google Suites.

  * Possess strong written and verbal commuication, administrative, and organizational skills.

  * Ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations and handle confidential matters with discretion, problem solving skills, works well with           others and the able to function independently.

 

Applicant selected for the position will need to be fingerprinted with the Department of Education, pass & maintain the State of Maine background check.

Compensation based on experience.
