Bus Driver

Winthrop Public Schools is looking for a licensed BUS DRIVER to join our new and dynamic transportation team. This position is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Transport students over scheduled routes and special routes
• Maintain discipline on the school bus in a positive manner at all times.
• Perform daily bus inspections and tasks as required.
• Report to the appropriate authorities in case of mechanical failures, delays, or accidents.
• Subject to periodic and random drug and alcohol testing.

Requirements:

• Holds or be eligible to hold a current State of Maine school bus license.
• Hold or be eligible for a State of Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check Authorization (CHRC).
• Adheres to all of Winthrop Public Schools Board Policies.

We offer a very competitive salary of approximately $25.75 - $32.89 per hour depending on experience, plus benefits.
