Education Technician III (3 positions) George J. Mitchell School
Waterville Public schools is seeking an Ed Tech III (3) to work in our Special Education Department at George J. Mitchell School in Waterville, Maine.
George J. Mitchell School is a 400 Student public, municipal school encompassing the grades Kindergarten through Third Grade. George J. Mitchell is a dynamic learning environment with a variety of programming and support services.
At Goerge J. Mitchell School our students exhibit a variety of academic, functional, and developmental challenges that must be addressed with a positive and caring approach.
The successful candidate will be collaborative, organized, caring, and dependable.
In this position you will be expected to be creative, understanding, and willing to work with a variety of students with a variety of strengths and challenges.
This position will also require you to support our students in both the general education setting and the special education setting in either a one to one model or in small groups.
You will work closely with the classroom teacher, case manager, and other related service providers to implement the students Individualized Education Plans. Qualifications:
Maine Ed Tech III Certification (or eligible to obtain with 90 Post Secondary Credits)
