We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals that want to make a difference in a child's life. The Ed Tech I or II (BHP) is responsible for working 1:1 or 1:2 with students diagnosed with special needs. The Ed Tech I & II (BHP) is responsible for supporting the children to meet the goals specified on their treatment plans using developmentally appropriate practices and active engagement.
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Ed Tech I & II’s (BHP’s) would work one-on-one with students in a classroom setting.
- Ed Tech I & II are active in overseeing student progress, programs and assessments which include preparation, coordination and following of lesson plans and coordination with other providers, supervisors, therapists, and team personnel.
- Ed Tech I & II will work closely with a classroom teacher to implement curriculum and interventions established by the treatment team.
- Daily documentation and tracking is an important element of the job.
Qualifications:
- Experience is preferred but Watch Me Shine is willing to train the right applicant.
- Candidates must pass an extensive criminal background check.
