Do you have a background in special education and a passion for helping students thrive? UTC is seeking a Student Success & Transition Coordinator to support students—particularly those with IEPs and 504 plans—as they explore and succeed in career and technical education (CTE) programs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys collaboration, transition planning, and building meaningful connections between schools, students, and future careers.

In This Role, You Will:

• Serve as the primary liaison for students with special needs as they transition into and out of UTC

• Attend IEP/504 meetings and support instructors in implementing accommodations

• Design career exploration experiences and soft skills workshops

• Coordinate with sending schools, families, and CTE instructors to ensure student success

• Provide outreach and supervision across satellite CTE Exploratory programs

• Collaborate closely with satellite instructors to support student engagement and transitions

• Build connections with employers, colleges, and community partners for student opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong background in Special Education (certification preferred)

• Experience supporting students with disabilities in educational settings

• Interest in pursuing or growing into Assistant Building Administrator certification

• Passion for career readiness and hands-on learning

• Great communication, organization, and collaboration skills

• Willingness to travel between partner schools
