Description

Falmouth Schools is seeking qualified candidates for our Van Driver position. This 25-30 hour position is responsible for student transportation to an out-of-district educational program, using our school van.  

Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age and have held a driver's license for at least two years, have, or be eligible for, Maine CHRC (fingerprinting) certification and pass a district-run background and driving records check. 

Pay and Benefits:
Position is 25-30 hours per week, with starting pay at $22.57.  If applicant/hire has a bus driver CDL license, pay will be commensurate with CDL experience (scale range is $22.57 - $26.87).  A generous and comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% district-paid single health and dental coverage, life, personal/vacation/sick leave, and a matching District contribution to retirement (up to 7%). 

Bus driver license (CDL) is not required for this position.  Hires interested in attaining a full CDL license are provided training at no cost and will be moved to the bus driver pay scale.
