Part Time Title 1 Teacher

RSU3 is currently seeking a highly qualified part-time Title I / Intervention Teacher to join our team at Walker Elementary School. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our student's academic growth and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide resources, preparation, and management of school-wide Tier 1 instructional intervention activities.
• Deliver targeted interventions to Tier 2 and Tier 3 identified students to address achievement gaps.
• Lead 1-to-1 and small group remedial reading sessions, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs.
• Utilize data analysis to inform instructional decision-making, with a focus on differentiated instruction for students at risk.

Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge of reading intervention programs.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Previous teaching experience, with a preference for candidates with an early literacy background.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students.
